Soar TSD Training 5/8 Aug

This week’s training:. We will place our training focus on Ho Sin Sul (locking and grabbing) while not neglecting our basics. White and Orange belts need to be practicing all your forms through Pyung Ahn Cho Dan. Green Belts and up begin learning Pyung Ahn E Dan and Pyung Ahn Sam Dan. I plan to cover these in class along with our Ho Sin Sul.

Meditation for the Week

Concentration is a lot of attention, thought, and focus directed to an activity or subject. This week’s meditation is concentration. In Tang Soo Do, it takes a great deal of concentration WC_2ndFeat_Nov15.pngor focus to practice consistently, to try your best on every technique, and to receive correction. To be an expert in Tang Soo Do, you have to be able to concentrate keeping constant awareness of every tiny muscle in your body.
.  The godly life also takes consistent concentration so that your life will glorify God. Deuteronomy 6 tells us how we practice this type of concentration.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. (Deuteronomy 6:4–7)
