Jok Ki (Kicking Techniques) are the bread and butter of Korean Martial Arts. In the world of karate, Tang Soo Do’s differences are most apparent in kicking – dynamic, high, and arial. A flying side klick is on our association flag and seal! This week, I want you to jump kicking as well as in your Il Soo Sik Jok Ki Dae Ryun — One Steps with Foot techniques.
CHANGES FOR SPRING SESSION: We have 12 weeks until our next belt test. There is a great deal of work to accomplish between now and then. I expect each of you to practice at least twice a week outside of class. If you do not practice, you will not be ready for the test. You testing requirements are Knowledge (the written test), Basic Techniques in combination, Hyungs, One-Steps, Sparring, Circular Drill, weapons (as applicable), SOAR Challenge, and Breaking (as applicable). Your written test information is your responsibility alone. I will introduce a belt striping system (right side) to ensure you have learned your required skills and are prepared for the test.
Class Schedule is Mondays & Tuesdays
1730-1800: ages 5-10 (Little Dragons)
1800-1900: ages 10 to Adult (Warriors)
We are now located at the Spirit of Fort Hood Chapel Gym
