COVID-19 Mitigation

Screening: As participants check in, each will have his or her temperature measured.  Anyone whose temperature is above normal will be asked to return home and advised to seek medical attention. The following screening questions will also be asked:

          1.  Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 21 days: sore throat, cough, chills, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, loss of smell, loss of taste, or fever greater than 99º?

           2.  Have you or anyone in your household cared for an individual who is in quarantine or is presumed or tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 21 days?

Cleaning and Sanitization: Each participant will be directed to use hand sanitizer on hands and feet before class and at the conclusion of class. All floors and mats will be sanitized prior class and again at the conclusion of training. All used equipment will be wiped down with anti-bacterial or germicide application before and after use. Restrooms will be inspected for sanitariness and available hand soap and paper towels.

Social Distancing: Two meters of space will be marked out with painter’s tape to ensure proper distancing when lining up and performing line drills. A face covering will be worn for the duration of participation to include training and cleaning. The only exception to the face covering requirement will be if we are able to train outside. Any drills requiring close quarters training will be restricted to family member partnership as much as possible.
