Soar Training: Schedule Change this Week Only

As I mentioned last week in class, due to a scheduling conflict with our training space, we will shift our training to Wednesday and Thursday this week only. We will return to our normal training schedule next week.
FOR THIS WEEK ONLY
Wednesday (28 Apr): 1730–Little Dragons; 1800–Warriors
Thursday (29 Apr): 1730–Little Dragons; 1800–Warriors


Ho Sin Sul and Sparring

Training this week will focus on self-defence (ho sin sul), sparring, and falling. There are many ways to escape from various attacks. You can counter the attack, evade the attack, fall or roll away from the attack (which is also evading). As It is common for these defense techniques to end with a throw or counter joint lock, we will also practice how to safely break fall. 

Falls include (Remember all these can be executed with a jump):

  • Side Fall
  • Front Fall
  • Back Fall
  • Front Roll
  • Back Roll
  • Forward Rolling Break Fall

NORMAL Class Schedule is Mondays & Tuesdays
1730-1800: ages 5-10
1800-1900: ages 10 to Adult
