Routines are built on consistency and self-discipline. Becoming an expert in Tang Soo Do means you have to attend training classes and follow an individual training plan (i.e. practice outside of class). When life becomes difficult, it is the routines that bring comfort because of their familiarity.
Faithfulness to a routine is difficult at times, but did you know that God is faithful even we are fail to be faithful to him. His grace and forgiveness are always ready for those who seek him. The Psalmist wrote, “the eye of the Lord is on those who revere him, on those who hope in his steadfast love” (Ps 33:18). And he continues with the prayer , “Let your stedfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in You” (Ps 33:22).

that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
~ Psalm 1:2–3 ~
